Hommage á Picasso & Matisse

In 1916 Henri Matisse painted a still life titled "Plaster Bust" as a comment on Cubism. The painting resonated with Picasso and in 1936 he did a still life titled "Bust, Bowl and Palette". These two works inspired my still life "Massai Bust".

VanGogh painted many sunflower still lifes and often his signature was a part of the picture. "Vincent" could often be found somewhere within the picture instead of the usual "signaturecorner" with date.
